It is Blanc de Noirs and made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in southern part of champagne in France

36 months lees ageing - 'Lees' are dead yeasts which when left in contact with the wine create buttery, creamy, rich flavours and mouth-feel

The Moutard family have been in Champagne region since the 17th century and planted their first vines on the hills around the Buxeuil village in 1642

Moutard Terroir - Côte des Bar region is “underdog” terroir and is characterised by an oceanic/continental climate and soil animated by a Kimmeridgian band. It is made up of a succession of marls and clay limestone from 152 to 157 million years ago, renowned for their extensive marine fossils and Exogyra Virgula fossilised oysters. This characteristic offers wines with greater roundness, character and complexity than other Champagnes.
