Langham Corallian Classic Cuvée NV

Complex aromas of Gala apples and pears are strongly backed up with toasted brioche and butter. On the palate, orchard fruit with lemon pith, citrus acidity and a welcome touch of salinity with freshly baked brown bread and butter add more dimensions to this wine. Captivating and beautiful! Ideal for summer and daytime garden parties, along with seafood and lighter canapes.

Meet the Winemaker - Tommy Grimshaw "Our goal is quite simple. We are aiming to produce world class wines that showcase the quality of fruit that we are growing here in our little corner of Dorset, South West England. We question every process from pruning to labelling and challenge ourselves to improve at every stage. The vineyard is managed with a ‘best practice’ mindset which means that we only do what is absolutely necessary as we are very conscious of our surrounding environment and how we are affecting it. In the winery, all of our base wines ferment naturally and they are not fined or filtered at any stage with minimal use of sulphur dioxide. I feel that this approach has allowed us to formulate a distinct Langham style of wines that are rich, complex and well balanced."

Corallian - The name of the wine comes from the limestone soils that run right under the vineyard. These stratas were formed during the Jurassic period on the Jurassic coast in Dorset. So why is that important? The limestone gives the chardonnay its freshness, citrus and lemon notes in the wines. Adding the name of the soil to their label, Langham Corallian evokes that feeling of terroir and a real sense of place.
